BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH ONE OF THE UK’S LEADING SAFEGUARDING PROVIDERS

WHY ECP?

We are excited about our ambitious plans and look forward to building on our 20-year history of working with professionals to keep children and vulnerable adults safe.

We are an independently owned, ambitious company, and our Values are at the heart of everything we do. We recognise the contribution our team bring to our success by offering:

– Very competitive salaries

– CPD opportunities

– Employee benefits such as ‘staff treats’

– Regular team building social events

– Managerial and non-managerial supervision, including personal strengths coaching

– 33 days’ annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

We are looking to appoint a number of candidates to join our exceptional team of trainers. You will be required to research, develop, design (redesign) and deliver safeguarding programmes to a diverse audience.

Key to your success will be your ability to engage with your audience when presenting.

Much of the work we undertake is as a result of referrals, so you will be expected to build professional relationships with our clients and identify opportunities for additional work, and to deliver new safeguarding programmes as they present themselves.

Our delivery is both face-to-face and virtual, which will include travel on a regional basis and occasional evening and weekend working for which time off in lieu will be granted.

WHAT PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WILL I BE EXPECTED TO HAVE?

Certainly, you will be expected to have experience of working in safeguarding. As to what specific areas of safeguarding, at this stage we have opportunities working in various areas. If you are keen to develop your safeguarding specialism and your career is currently in the workforce, this could be the role for you.

Whilst this is primarily a delivery role, you will be expected to have an input into the development of new programmes, having first undertaken the required research to keep yourself updated on new safeguarding initiatives.

You will need to understand the importance and value of CPD, and be proactive in ensuring that is undertaken.

WHAT SKILLS WOULD YOU EXPECT ME TO HAVE?

The confidence and ability to present to a diverse audience is the most important part of this role. In addition, time management and organisational skills are essential in this fast paced, progressive environment.

WHY ARE YOU RECRUITING?

We’re growing and are looking for new trainers to join our team to support the delivery of work we have already agreed to undertake for clients in 2023.

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE THERE FOR ME TO DEVELOP MY CAREER?

We work with clients across all safeguarding areas, from early years through to vulnerable adults, and every sector in between. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about delivering training, and having an impact on all those who receive it.

For you, this provides a great opportunity to develop your skills in more than one area, in fact we would encourage you to do so, and to tell us how you wish your career to develop.

This really is an opportunity to build your career with one of the UK’s leading safeguarding providers.
