What is the role?
The purpose of this role is to embed safe practice and ensuring operational compliance across all areas of Saints Foundation’s work. As Safeguarding Lead for the charity you will maintain a strong understanding of the latest sector policies and guidelines to update and ensure we have all relevant policies in place, and work with Managers to ensure this is translated in to practice across the charity.

To lead on risk management and ensure that all staff understand and play an active role in the management of standards for their areas of work. You’ll have the support of managers across the charity and Southampton Football Club, in order to make sure that best practice standards are created, and compliance is monitored.

What are we looking for?
To thrive in this role, you will need a good understanding of the safeguarding and policy landscape across charity, community, sport and education sectors. You will need to be influential, to be able to work within a team of professionals and translate policy into guidance to support operational delivery. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a driven and proactive attitude and to be a positive representation of Saints Foundation.
