Job Description

The post holder will provide business support and project management for the IOW safeguarding team in the ICB, for a period of up to 12 months maternity cover. In addition to the IOW role support will be provided for the wider ICB safeguarding team administrators and designated teams at place.

To support the designated nurses for safeguarding adults and children.

To co-ordinate and organise primary care supervision sessions.

Report writing and data collection.

Completion of ICB newsletter.

Liaise with multi-agency partners.

Attend system wide meetings.

To support the executive lead for the IOW with completion of statutory Safeguarding functions.

Successful candidates will be subject to a six-month probationary period.

Responsible for overseeing and/or facilitating the collation, analysis, validation and on-going reporting of data and performance reports for the safeguarding service in order to satisfy both internal and external requirements.

May develop and/or input into business plans to support the safeguarding service and its team in implementing service transformation and service development plans.

Support development and revision of Service Specifications, development and review of provider Key Performance Indicators and support contract management / quality monitoring processes related to safeguarding.

Provide the focal point of developing excellent communications, regular contact and facilitate collaborative working relationships between the HIOW ICB safeguarding teams and other partners/commissioned providers.

Create capacity within the Safeguarding Service and team, enabling them to focus on the delivery of transformation programmes and to support core business, thereby allowing existing senior and specialist capacity to be released.

Contribute to the development of service strategies and service transformation.
