The role of Safeguarding Clearance Manager;

  • Managing 3 established Team Leaders, drawing from their experience and already developed relationships with staff.
  • Managing the candidate onboarding audit process across the business to ensure high standards of compliance are met in line with our audit accreditation
  • Conducting monthly audits on files that have been cleared by the team to ensure the required standard have been achieved
  • Managing process changes when new legislation comes into force in line with the REC and regulatory changes
  • Effectively setting out goals and objectives for the team and individuals
  • Conduct 121s to ensure targets are achieved and reviewed regularly
  • Effective utilisation of the teams skills to ensure the team regularly achieve their targets whilst ensuring the highest standards
  • Distribution and Management of day-to-day tasks throughout the day to ensure all work is distributed effectively
  • Identifying any trends/gaps in compliance knowledge within the sales teams and supporting the L&D team to come up with solutions to rectify these
  • Hold daily team meetings/briefs
  • Create and run team incentives
  • Prepare weekly reports

Essential knowledge, skills and abilities;

  • Leadership experience
  • 2 years minimum experience in compliance or similar field
  • Previous sales experience or have worked in a target and KPI focused role
  • Drive, determination and Motivation
  • Able to build rapport and strong communication skills
  • Confident and Resilient personality
  • Ability to nurture relationships
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Working to targets and deadlines within a face paced environment
