The role

This is exciting opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to work with and contribute to the development of the respected Camden Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board. The post holder will support the Independent Chair of the Board, subgroups and local partners to meet national best practice and local quality standards as set out in its safeguarding strategy. The role ensures that the Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board discharges its statutory functions and duties and fulfils its objectives.

Working closely with the Chair of the Board and the Strategic Lead for safeguarding, you will contribute pro-actively to this exciting agenda.

About you

As an excellent communicator with a proven track record of managing, engaging and leading, you will support our multi-agency partnership in their arrangements to safeguard adults. You will have

  • Knowledge of social care policy and best practice, preferably relating to safeguarding
  • Organisational skills to develop and deliver reports, strategic documents and coordinate learning events.
  • Experience of working in a complex, multi-agency environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of developing and progressing strategies.
  • Line management experience.

You will be responsible for providing line management to a Safeguarding Board Officer and determine the Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board workplan in response to Board priorities.
