Job Description

We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and dependable team player to join the Safeguarding Adults Team as a new Safeguarding Adults Board Administrator and Safeguarding Adults Team Administrator.

This is a busy post requiring the post-holder to work in a split role between the Safeguarding Adults Board and the Safeguarding Adults Team. The post holder will be expected to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise different demands. You need to have excellent administrative skills, must have the ability to organise your own workload and carry out tasks autonomously with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be required to organise the activities of the Safeguarding Adults Board including the coordination of Board meetings, Sub-Groups, Safeguarding Adults Reviews and events. You will be required to undertake minute taking duties for highly confidential and complex meetings and therefore experience of minute taking is essential. The post holder will also be required to undertake research at various Safeguarding Adults Panels including domestic abuse, hate crime and pressure ulcer panels.

The Post holder should be able to demonstrate appropriate operational support skills including the use of IT systems as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The role is based at The Woolwich Centre

The role will be supervised by the Safeguarding Adults Board Manager and Head of Safeguarding Adults
