We currently have an exciting opportunity for recruitment to an NRM Co-ordinator post.  It is a full time temporary position until 31st March 2024, subject to Home Office funding. This is a new role which is externally funded and will provide Oxfordshire resource as one of the national NRM decision-making pilot scheme.  Located within the Youth Justice and Exploitation Service, the role will involve working collaboratively with various partner agencies.  The role will make a difference in keeping our young people safe.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the localised multi-agency Panel which will be responsible for making decisions of fact about child National Referral Mechanism referrals, and to liaise with and report to the Home Office.  It will also provide  training to both statutory and non-statutory agencies developing the ability to provide positive outcomes for young people.  The postholder will also have oversight of the outcomes and reporting on highlighted repeat themes and trends.

It is preferable if you  have experience of working in a multi-agency setting and knowledge and understanding of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
