Working Hours – 36.0 Hours per Week

The starting salary for this role will usually be at the bottom of the salary range and will be pro-rata if the working hours are less than full time.

The Role

To support the Police Single Point of Access team by providing an effective and efficient administrative service.

Location: Agile and Quadrant Court Woking

Key Responsibilities

To ensure that all enquiries into the department are dealt with courteously, tactfully, and promptly both verbally and in writing. To arrange meetings and take minutes. To undertake general administrative duties.

Skills & Experience

It is essential that the post holder has:

Thorough computer skills, with detailed knowledge of MS Office.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

The ability to work as a member of several teams.

An awareness of the need to maintain confidentiality and security.

Experience of using written communication in the workplace and should possess a GCSE in English (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualification.

The ability to have a flexible approach.

Attention to detail and accuracy, combined with the ability to work to strict timescales.

Demonstrable experience of participating in a team.

It is desirable that the post holder has:

Demonstrable experience of working within administrative systems and procedures.

The post holder will be required to successfully pass Management Vetting.
