Location:

Role type:

Full time

Salary:

£30,000- £46,000

Your purpose

Our Team Managers will play a leading role in advancing our patient care standards and operational excellence, taking Ascenti to the next level. Team Managers are our first line of day-to-day operational leadership.

Being a Team Manager is about supporting and nurturing your team to be the best they can. A Team Manager leads and manages a team of Mental Health clinicians, to deliver services to our customers and patients.

How your role fits within our team

A Team Manager leads and manages a team of Mental Health clinicians. You’ll be the first port of call for your team if they need signposting, support or if something goes wrong.

Formal authority and hierarchy doesn’t appeal to you. You know that the best way to lead a team of therapists is to respect their clinical opinion, collaborate, and support them when they need your help. You’ll develop meaningful working relationships with your team, regularly reviewing their performance, listening to their feedback, coaching them to improve and celebrating their successes.

You’ll naturally take accountability and be ready to ‘get stuck in’; making sure that you have the right blend of skills across your team, supporting therapists to achieve their ambitions, managing performance consistently and fairly, and you’ll work to achieve agree budgets or measures. Above all, you’ll celebrate diversity and create an environment where your team feel able to bring their true selves to work.
