The Directorate of Children, Families and Schools has developed a new ‘Education Safeguarding Team’ that will sit within its Children, Young People, Education and Schools service area. The primary role of the new team is to support educational establishments within the Council area to safeguard and protect children and young people.
We are seeking two enthusiastic and experienced individuals to work within this team.
Your role will include working with partners from other agencies/departments, using your education knowledge and expertise to contribute to decisions in relation to child protection, safeguarding and or early help. You will also offer support and challenge to educational establishments to improve their safeguarding practice.
