Contract Hours: 32.5 per week

Salary: Leadership Payscale SCP 14 – 18 £58,135 – £64,143 per annum

Following the successful recruitment of our Deputy Headteacher to a Headteacher post, the Management Committee is seeking to appoint an interim Deputy Headteacher from January 2022, whilst they prepare to make a permanent recruitment.

We are a Local Authority maintained Pupil Referral Unit and a Home Hospital Education Service, supporting primary and secondary aged students based over three sites.

We are looking for an inspirational, charismatic senior leader who has a track record of inspiring students to overcome challenges and barriers they face to positively engage with education. The role requires an outstanding and reflective practitioner who is able to share our values, commitment and positive regard for our students and their families.

The successful candidate in this role will:
? join the leadership team of a PRU and a Home Hospital Education Service with a local and national reputation that maximises student progress, attainment, achievement in preparation for adult life;
? build on the school’s existing strengths and join the leadership team in the successful implementation of change to drive improvements;
? demonstrate a firm understanding of school improvement and have resilience, drive and a passion to help improve our provision;
? maximise our effective working relationships with mainstream schools and other agencies to support students learning and with their reintegration.
? think strategically, demonstrating a combination of excellent management skills but also lead others operationally by being a strong, visible leader;
