We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to be responsible for the organisation of pastoral care of our students and with the Designated Safeguarding Lead will hold responsibility for safeguarding.
The successful candidate will:
Work alongside the Deputy Head to ensure statutory requirements for safeguarding are met and staff follow all protocols
Identify and work with students at risk and provide support to pupils and their families
Liaise with relevant agencies to ensure that individual pupil needs are met effectively
Lead Safeguarding meetings and attend multi agency conferences
Use their initiative to take action to improve the lives of others
To be successful in this role we are looking for a person with:
Experience in working with safeguarding children policies and procedures
Experience of working with secondary school aged children/young people
Strong knowledge of local and national guidance in relation to safeguarding children
The ability to establish a rapport with adults and children and building strong relationships with parents
