SALARY:£18,577 – £20,220 per year

Hourly rate of pay:  £10.18-£11.08

Temporary for 6 months
Core hours and days of work:
Mon, Tue & Thu 8.30am -1.30pm
Wed & Friday 8.30 am- 3.30pm
Plus additional hours to meet the needs of the service as required
There may be occasional Saturday working
From January there will be a requirements to work 3 evenings a week

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Development Assistant to join East Lothian’s Connected Communities team at Wallyford Community Centre.  Working within a busy community centre you will be involved in a range of tasks assisting with bookings, community groups, admin and day to day enquiries.  This is an excellent opportunity to support community members and groups to improve their health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and support an extremely valuable community resource.

Job Details

To support and assist in the day to day delivery of front line Connected Community service, in accordance with local and Council procedures.

Job Requirements

PVG Membership
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
