A new and exciting opportunity within the Directorate of Student Experience and Wellbeing has arisen for an experienced safeguarding practitioner.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant and recent experience in a safeguarding related role, including in dealing with Child Protection concerns and the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.  They will have a good working knowledge of relevant safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance, including the Prevent Duty.

The person appointed to this role will join a supportive team and report directly in to the Wellbeing Manager, who acts as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead as part of their role.  They will take a proactive approach to raising awareness of safeguarding related issues and risk across the business, and will act as first point of contact for reported safeguarding concerns.
