Kingdom Support and Care CIC (KSC) is a Community Interest Company, a private company limited by shares and a wholly owned subsidiary of Kingdom Housing Association (KHA).

Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) supports over 300 people throughout East Central Scotland including Fife, Forth Valley and surrounding areas providing high quality and personalised support and care designed to meet individual needs and desired outcomes. We provide support to people with a range of needs in their own homes, including those with: learning disability, autistic spectrum disorder, complex needs, mental health issues, age related needs, homelessness, drug and alcohol addictions.

Our aim is to support people to have a safe and secure home, to live as independently as possible in their own home, to live as full a life as possible and to be part of their local community. We provide flexible, responsive and person centred support which assists people to live their lives as they wish and to enable them to meet their desired outcomes.

About the Role

This is a new position within Kingdom Support & Care to assist in providing management, leadership and operational support to Coordinators and staff across a number of geographic locations and to assist the registered support and care managers to implement new business, maintain service delivery and ensure quality standards in services are met and evidenced. The post holder will be part of the KSC management team and contribute to the overall aims and objectives of the organisation.

The role will involve working with many different people, teams and organisations both internally and externally.

About You

You should possess working knowledge and understanding of appropriate legislation within the care sector along with at least 4 years working experience in a social care setting with adults of varying needs and at least 2 years minimum leadership experience in the provision of social care, supervision and mentoring.

To achieve the best outcomes within this role you should be adaptable to ever changing situations, key to your success will be your positive attitude along with an innovative flair.

You will have a solutions focused approach to your work as well as interacting with others. Excellent people and leadership skills will be pivotal to your success in this diverse role.

You must be able to be flexible in your approach to work as some evening, weekend and shift working will be required along with participating in the management on call service.

Job Location 

The administrative base will be in Dunfermline, Fife. The post holder will work across a number of services; therefore, the job location will vary between services/offices in accordance with the needs of the Support and Care Services.

Requirements

  • A current driving licence, business insurance and the use of a car for work purposes are essential.

  • SVQ4 in Health & Social Care or Equivalent
  • 2 Years Management Experience within Social Care
  • 4 Years minimum experience within a Social Care Environment
