A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an energetic and innovative company as an Assistant Manager.

You will be working along side the Registered Manager and the homes management team.

You’re be supporting to lead a team in the running of a small Children’s Home.

You will work in a two-bed home, working with Children and Young People using our PACE / DDP and Therapeutic parenting model.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Registered Manager to help ensure that the home meets high standards and remains an amazing family environment.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, making sure child care is of the highest quality.

Supervision of the team, developing and leading the team and practice.

You will manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Skills

-A proven track record of supervisory experience within childcare facilities.

-Strong staff management and leadership skills.

-An ability to communicate effectively on all levels.

-Strong familiarity in working towards Ofsted standards and outcomes.

Minimum Level 3 diploma in Children and Young People and some supervision skills would be desirable.

Salary Up to £30,000 sleep-ins will be additional to salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
