We are looking to appoint a whole school safeguarding manager to provide leadership and management for all Ashcroft High School staff in relation to student safeguarding and well-being, ensuring that staff are kept up to date with local and national developments and are trained in accordance to LSCB guidance.
The successful candidate will be required foster strong relationships with students, staff, parents and external providers to ensure that good communication is maintained in relation to student well-being and safety.
The successful candidate should:
- Have experience of working with pupils with social and behavioural needs
- Be able to build and maintain constructive relationships with pupils and parents and carers
- Be able to plan, lead and deliver CPD opportunities for all staff in school
- Must be able to respond to meetings outside of normal school hours when necessary
