Course outline:
This seminar uses real case studies and group discussions to create a safe space for practising how to identify, apply, and document the correct legal grounds for sharing information.
Training topics will include:
- Government guidance
- The reframed 7 golden rules
- Legal basis vs. consent: what’s changed and why
- How safeguarding guidance intersects with health information sharing
- The critical role of documenting information sharing decisions
- Hands-on group work with case studies
- Navigating difficult conversations: explaining information sharing choices.

- Confidence in applying and recording the legal basis for sharing information
