Job IntroductionThe starting salary for this role is £35,382 per annum for working 36 hours per week.

Come join our team and play an essential part in raising the profile of the Safeguarding Adults Board and it’s work across Surrey. The Board team is expanding, and we currently have an exciting new role to take forward our wider engagement and communication work.

We are looking for someone with considerable experience of adult safeguarding work as well as an understanding of the role, function, responsibilities, and processes of a Safeguarding Adults Board. As the Board is a strategic partnership, experience of multi-agency work is essential.

You will support the development and delivery of key Board priorities. A key element of this role will be to build positive relationships with health, voluntary, community and faith organisations. The role also requires strong skills in communicating, networking and collaboration to achieve our objectives. You will support the development of the Board communication strategy and lead on the implementation of this with partners.

The role will include varied multi-agency working from supporting Board sub-groups and forums to be focussed and effective in meeting key objectives to taking on specific projects to support the work of the Board.

The successful candidate must be able to juggle competing tasks, manage tight deadlines, prioritise effectively and be willing and able to travel around the county.
