He holds extensive experience tackling a wide range of complex radicalisation cases in various roles\, including as a Social Worker within Childrenā€™s Services\, as Channel Coordinator within Prevent and as the Prevent Practitioner/Deputy Named Safeguarding Professional within an NHS mental health Trust. Furthermore\, Thomas is a PhD candidate in Social Work and Social Care investigating the radicalisation of young men and the role of masculinity in violent extremism. \nThomas is a qualified Social Worker with a background in Childrenā€™s services and holds years of experience in multi-agency safeguarding work. His work spans across safeguarding children and adults from a range of harms\, including domestic abuse\, sexual exploitation\, criminal exploitation\, county lines\, modern slavery and radicalisation.
