SUMMARY:Intervention Plans that Build Resilience
DESCRIPTION:Course outline: \nStrengths-based planning is recognised good practice. But how often do teams focus on deficits\, or areas that need `fixing’ to the detriment of including strengths-based activities that contribute to reducing risk. In this webinar our speaker describes their front-line intervention work with children and explores how strengths-based planning and intervention strategies have created improved outcomes for children and young people. Delegates will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the webinar and consider how strengths-based planning and intervention delivery can be used in their practice. \nTraining topics will include: \n\nWhy strengths-based intervention planning?\nInvolving children and young people in making their plan\nCase study examples of strengths-based planning and intervention\nWorking with other agencies to keep the plan positive\nRecording outcomes and impact.\n\nLearning outcomes: \n\nAn opportunity to explore the benefits of strengths-based approaches to intervention planning\nHow to include the voice of the child in their plan\nHow to work with others who may be more deficit focussed\nMethods of recording impact and outcomes.\n\nAudience: \nThis webinar is for all safeguarding leads and practitioners involved in developing and delivering pastoral support and early help intervention plans. \nCost: \n\nMember Rate: £60\nNon-member Rate: £120*\n\nBOOK NOW \n*If you would like to become a member and access discounted rates for Sacpa CPD and events\, please click here.
